Its profits are returned to the credit union s 75,000-plus members in the form of higher savings rates and lower loan rates and fees. Public Service Credit Union was established in 1938 by a group of Public Service Company employees and volunteers. It is based in Denver and is governed by a board of volunteer directors who are elected by credit union members.
