Central Bank is an independently owned bank that is an Equal Housing Lender and is supervised by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The bank operates branch locations throughout Minnesota, including in Coon Rapids, Eden Prairie, Golden Valley, St Michael and White Bear Lake. It was chartered in 1919 as Cosmopolitan State Bank of Stillwater. In 1991, Croix Valley Bank merged with Cosmopolitan State Bank and became Central Bank.
